Manchar lake is located west of the Indus River, it is now located in Jamshoro District, Sindh. before creation of Jamshoro District it was in Dadu District. Jamshoro district was split from Dadu District in December 2004. most of the outdated books are still referring it to Dadu District.

  7. Although Manchar lake now come under the District Jamshror, but in question it is asked that near to which area? It is not mentioned that city or district. So according this the answer would be Dadu because Manchar is situated in Bubak City which is more near to Dadu city than city of Jamshoro.
