Manchar lake is located west of the Indus River, it is now located in Jamshoro District, Sindh. before creation of Jamshoro District it was in Dadu District. Jamshoro district was split from Dadu District in December 2004. After enlarging the territory of Jamshoro district Manchar Lake has been included in Jamshoro district near Sehwan. most of the outdated books are still referring it to Dadu District. that wikipedia link is also outdated
