Here we have to find the Sum of First 70 even Numbers
First 70 even Numbers are
2 , 4 , 6 , 8 , … , 140
This is an arithmetic progression
First term = 2
Last term = 140
Number of terms = 70
Hence the required sum
=n/2 x [First Term + Last Term]
=70/2 x [2 + 140]
=35 x 142
=4970
Hence the correct option is B. 4970
The correct answer to the question: "What is the Sum of First 70 Odd Numbers?" is "4970".

Please solve this
Formula: Sn= n^2
I could not understand this quiz
Anyone can explain me this ans ?
4935 is right ans
70÷2=35 139±2=141
35×141=4935
Find the sum of the first 70 even number
Formula is. n(n+1)
n= the number given
70(70+1) first solve bracket= 4970
4900 is wrong
Sn= n(n+1)/2
= 70(70+1)/2
= 2485
sorry correct
step 1
Address the formula, input parameters & values.
Input parameters & values:
The number series 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, . . . . , 139.
The first term a = 1
The common difference d = 2
Total number of terms n = 70
step 2
apply the input parameter values in the AP formula
Sum = n/2 x (a + Tn)
= 70/2 x (1 + 139)
= (70 x 140)/ 2
= 9800/2
1 + 3 + 5 + 7 + 9 + . . . . + 139 = 4900
Therefore, 4900 is the sum of first 70 odd numbers.
