The Israel–Morocco normalization agreement is an agreement that was signed on December 10, 2020, in which Israel and Morocco agreed to begin normalizing relations. The agreement followed Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Sudan also signing normalization agreements with Israel in September and October 2020. Along with Egypt and Jordan, Morocco became the sixth Arab League country to normalise ties with Israel. As part of the agreement, the United States agreed to recognize Morocco’s claim to the disputed Western Sahara territory.
