The country’s first 800 Gbps per wavelength for faster and more efficient internet connectivity has been launched by the PTCL. The new Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) system, termed the Super C+L, enables a data transmission capacity of 64 terabytes per second (Tbps) per fibre, with the potential to reach up to 96 Tbps, marking a step forward for Pakistan’s digital infrastructure.
Super C+L system has been developed in collaboration with Huawei, and it supports a broader optical spectrum of up to 12 Terahertz against 4.8 THz provided by traditional systems.
The correct answer to the question: "Which company has launched Pakistan’s first ‘800 Gbps per wavelength’ for faster and more efficient internet connectivity?" is "PTCL".
