Syed Tahir Shahbaz has taken Oath on 21st July, 2017 as 7th regular Wafaqi Mohtasib (Ombudsman) of Pakistan and prior to his appointment as Wafaqi Mohtasib, he was Secretary Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan

Ahmad Qureshi, has taken oath on 27th December, 2021 as 8th regular Wafaqi Mohtasib (Ombudsman) of Pakistan. He has done his Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Punjab and one in Public Policy & Planning from Pennsylvania State University, USA. He joined Civil Service of Pakistan in 1972 through competitive examination.
