Article 245 of the Pakistani Constitution, which allows the Armed Forces to act in aid of civil power, restricts the High Court’s jurisdiction under Article 199. Specifically, Article 245(3) states that a High Court cannot exercise jurisdiction under Article 199 in any area where the Armed Forces are acting in aid of civil power. This means the High Court cannot question actions taken by the Armed Forces under the authority of Article 245.
