During the Battle of Uhud, which took place in 625 CE near Medina, Muslim women for the first time participated by providing support to the injured and supplying water to the soldiers. This battle was a significant event in early Islamic history and occurred as a result of the conflict between the Muslim community in Medina and the Quraysh tribe of Mecca.
