47 is the correct Answer, I have seen many copy paste sites have written 53, which is incorrect.

Dear make correction please the number of Articles were 47 as per many resources and do some research please and update us
according to Dr.Hamidullah in his book Ahd e Nabwi Nizam e Taleem he told there were 53 articles but 47 articles are generally accepted.

There are 54 Articles in charter of Madina according to Sindh text book jamshoro class 5th islamiyat.
The right of every citizen is highlighted in the 47 articles, for instance, i) Muslim: articles No 2 until No 10 and ii) Non-Muslim: articles No 25 to No 35. The rights of every tribe both Muslim and non-Muslim are specifically identified and highlighted in the charter.
