According to Guinness World Records, The oldest living person (male) is Chitetsu Watanabe (Japan, b. 5 March 1907), who is 112 years and 344 days old, as verified in Joetsu, Niigata, Japan, on 12 February 2020.Chitetsu was born in Niigata, Japan and Chitetsu worked at an agricultural office – a branch of the Niigata Prefectural office – until retirement. He was a sweet tooth, and has been passionate about bonsai .Previously World’s oldest man was Masazo Nonaka, who died in Japan aged 113 on 21st January 2019.
