The answer is in your question. When we increase freezing point it will melt at certain temperature… Suppose water freezing point is 0 if we raise to -5 it mean at -1 ice will start melting… It’s my opinion please correct if I’m wrong.
salt increases the freezing point in negative. means it will take more time or more low temperature to freeze it like sea water.
