A. Main memory
B. Secondary memory
C. Disk memory
D. Programme memory
Data and program stored in the Main memory when the processor uses them.
The main memory acts as the central storage unit in a computer system.
It can be classified into two major units.
RAM (Random Access Memory) integrated circuit chips
ROM (Read Only Memory) integrated circuit chips
Secondary memory:
Secondary memory refers to storage devices, such as hard drives and solid-state drives.
It may also refer to removable storage media, such as USB flash drives, CDs, and DVD etc.
Program Memory:
Program Memory (ROM) is used for the permanent saving program being executed.
While Data Memory (RAM) is used for temporarily storing and keeping intermediate results and variables.
The correct answer to the question: "Where are data and programme stored when the processor uses them?" is "Main memory".

what is actually main memory here if it is refers to primary memory or RAM Read Only Memory then it is absolutely fine there is ambiguity in this Question that’s why i am leaving a reply you should set this option as Main memory or Primary memory because everyone is familiar as that there are two memories in computer Primary and Secondary memory.
RAM its Random Access Memory not Read only
if the question is about current data that is reqiured by the processor for the processing then RAM (Random Aceess Memory) is correct option and if its about stored data then RAM can’t store data for long time its store the data that is currently under process for a short period of time then the option should be secodary memory which store the data for long time.
Main Memory is a correct answer. An Admin answer is correct.
