The shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar was built by Feroz Shah Tughlaq in 1356, but was not completed until 1639:
Feroz Shah Tughlaq: Ordered the saint’s remains to be enshrined in Sehwan Sharif
Mirza Jani Beg and his son Mirza Ghazi Beg: Expanded the shrine under the Tarkhan dynasty
Nawab Dindar Khan: Paved the courtyard with glazed tiles in 1639
Pakistan’s vulnerable, embattled shrines
The shrine has been expanded several times since its founding. It is decorated with Sindhi “kashi-tiles”, mirror-work, and a gold-plated door donated by the Shah of Iran, Reza Shah Pahlavi.
The shrine is the tomb of Syed Muhammad Usman Marwandi, also known as Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, a Sufi philosopher poet and one of Pakistan’s most venerated saints. Hundreds of thousands of people gather each year to celebrate the “Urs”, his death anniversary.
The correct answer to the question: "Who built the shrine of Lal Shahbaz?" is "Feroz shah tughlaq".
