Pakistan hosted several water security-related meetings in 2025, including the first meeting for the Networking of Water Centers of Excellence in OIC Member States and an International Water Conference, both held in Islamabad. These meetings were organized by the OIC’s Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) to promote collaboration and address sustainable water management among OIC member states.
