The Quran and Sunnah are the supreme law of Pakistan.

Federal Government obligations
The Federal Government is required to enforce Shariah, promote amr bil ma’roof and nahi anil munkar, and provide socio-economic justice.

Exceptions
The provisions of this Article do not affect the religious freedom, traditions, or customs of non-Muslims.
