There are some nouns, adjectives and verbs that are always followed by certain prepositions. ‘good’ is an adjective and it is always followed by preposition ‘at’. So the correct way to say is:
He is good at English.
He is good at swimming.
She is good at painting.
One is either ‘good’ or ‘bad’ at something.
One excels in something.

Can’t we use “in” here instead of ‘at’ as he is weak in grammer so why can’t in for maths?
Kindly elaborate to rectify this.
