Narrated Abu Dhaar:
I said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! Which mosque was built first?” He replied, “Al-Masjid-ul-Haram.” I asked, “Which (was built) next?” He replied, “Al-Masjid-ul-Aqs-a (i.e. Jerusalem).” I asked, “What was the period in between them?” He replied, “Forty (years).” He then added, “Wherever the time for the prayer comes upon you, perform the prayer, for all the earth is a place of worshipping for you.”

Masjid-e-Quba was built by Hazrat Mohammad (s.a.w.w) while the Masjid-e-Haram was built by Hazrat Ibrahim & then 40 years later Masjid-e-Aqsa by Hazrat Yaqoob a.s.

Masjid aqsa built by Hazrat sulman A.S. was the first mosque on the surface of earth. masijid quba is built after hazrat Muhammad saw arrived in Madina.
Masjid e haram was not masjid. It was only kabba there in 571 AD.

The sacred “KHANA KABA” is not Masjid-e-Haram. Masjid-e-Haram is that mosque which was built after Fatah-e-Makkah, around the KHANA KABA. After 8 A.H. While Quba mosque was built by Hazrat MUHAMMAD(S.A.W.W.) in Madina after hijrat.. Thats why the oldest mosque on earth is MASJID-E-QUBA.
